MUSKETEERS ADD THREE TO HOCKEY OPERATIONS STAFF
Sioux City, Iowa (August 14, 2026) —Sioux City, IA (August 13, 2026) – The Sioux City Musketeers have announced the additions of three members to their hockey operations staff: Assistant Coach Dean Therriault, Video Coach & Director of Analytics Zack Kamins, and Equipment Manager Josh Deneau.
Therriault is a graduate of Michigan State University. He most recently coached at the youth level with Little Caesars while working extensively with elite youth players through Purpose Driven Development, the player development company he founded.
Therriault's experience includes player development, video analysis, practice planning, recruiting, and scouting. The Michigan native also worked with video, analytics, and various game-day operations for the Michigan State hockey team.
During his time with Little Caesars, the program won the 2025 USHL Fall Classic and 16U IIHF 4 Nations Tournament championships. Therriault's playing career included four years of varsity hockey at Grosse Pointe South, where his leadership abilities were recognized as he was named team captain in back-to-back years.
Kamins enters his first season as Video Coach & Director of Analytics for the Sioux City Musketeers and his fourth season overall with the organization. Kamins spent the previous three seasons as the team's Hockey Analyst, helping the club to a 95-72-19 record.
Kamins began working with the Musketeers while completing his undergraduate degree in Statistics at the University of South Florida and later while pursuing graduate studies in Mathematical Science at the University of North Florida. As the team's Hockey Analyst, he worked closely with the coaching staff and general manager to provide data-driven recommendations supporting player development, coaching strategy, and roster and trade decisions.
In his expanded role, Kamins will continue to lead the team's analytics efforts while adding video coaching responsibilities. He will break down game and practice footage to deliver actionable insights to players and coaches, further integrating video and analytics into the organization's approach to player development and team performance
Deneau is also a Michigan native and is a proud United States Marines veteran. Deneau assisted the Musketeers last season in an emergency situation on a road trip to Des Moines and now takes over a full time role.
"I have been on the ice since the age of two. Hockey has been a lifelong passion of mine," said Deneau. "I've always enjoyed helping others and working hands-on with hockey equipment. I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to join the staff and continue pursuing my passion for the game while supporting the team and its players.
